Amani Shroff
Amani Shroff (she/her) is a writer based in San Francisco, California, with a deep passion for poetry and creative writing. An ardent feminist, Amani has conducted extensive research on the role of poetry in the suffragette movement, reflecting her firm belief in the power of poetry to drive social change. She has worked with several publishing firms, including Montag Press in Berkeley, California. Her work has been featured in The Telling Room, Inlandia, and various other magazines. When not dug up in a book, you can find Amani, cooking her favorite recipes, traveling around the world, shopping at the mall, or watching NatGeo documentaries.
Joyce Lee
Joyce Lee (she/her) is a writer from the San Francisco Bay Area. An alumna of the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio and an editor-in-chief of her school’s newsmagazine, Joyce’s writing has been recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, the National Council of Teachers of English, and more. While not frantically typing out her newest idea in her bottomless Notes app folder, she's off reading in bed or dreaming about Iowa City. She charges into life armed with an intersection of creative and critical storytelling styles, as well as a slightly problematic addition to matcha lattes.
David Liu
David Liu (he/him/his) is a writer from Beijing, China, currently based in Long Island, New York. As a founding member of the Paumanok Journal and an integral part of uniting literature with the Prison Entrepreneurship MBA Program, his writing has earned him recognition from the Scholastic Awards and Duke University, amongst others. He escapes the mundane world by spending hours in front of the piano, attending an unhealthy number of classical music concerts, or capturing everything imaginative through his camera lens, striving to express himself passionately, yet remaining stable and precise.
